Sun Shower Halloween Punch

Ingredients:
•1 (12 oz) bottle of Sun Shower® 100% Nectarine or Nectarine Berry Juice
•2 (10 oz) packages of Frozen strawberries, defrosted
•1 quart Ginger ale

Directions:
Mix Sun Shower® 100% Nectarine Juice and strawberries in a blender until smooth and thick. Gradually add ginger ale. Transfer the beverage to a punch bowl. Stir in any remaining ginger ale.

Yum! It's National Dessert Month!

Who knew that dessert had it’s own month? Sounds great to us! We're celebrating October by using juices as an ingredient in our sweet treats! Check out this recipe for 100% Super Juice Cake using Sun Shower Nectarine Super Juice.

100% Super Juice Cake

Ingredients:
•3/4 Cup Sun Shower Nectarine Super Juice (or any Super Juice of your choice)
• 1 (3.5 oz) package Instant vanilla pudding mix
•1 (18.25 oz) package Yellow cake mix
•4 Eggs
•1/2 Cup Vegetable oil
•1 Cup Cold water
•1/2 Cup Butter
•3/4 Cup White sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cake pan. Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, and eggs together. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 30 minutes, or until knife inserted in cake comes out clean. Combine the butter or margarine, sugar, and juice in a saucepan. Boil this mixture for about 2 minutes. While still warm, poke holes in the top of the cake with a fork. Pour juice mixture over cake. When the cake is saturated place it on a plate, and dust top with confectioners' sugar.

Have Fun This Fall!

Crisp leaves and cooler weather is upon us, which brings a lot of opportunities for fun. Many of our Super Juices offer a great way to refresh and re-energize during the fun!

Check out some of our favorite fall activities:

•Go to an orchard for apple-picking. Make some apple pies together and share with neighbors and friends. Remember, many of our Super Juices go great with apple pie!

•Stuff your own scarecrow! Get your dad’s old pants and shirts and cram them full of hay. Paint a fun face on a burlap-covered ball or a pumpkin. Take everyone’s picture with the scarecrow to remember the fun! This would be the ideal time to enjoy some Halloween Punch!

•Make birdfeeder ornaments by layering peanut butter and sunflower seeds on pinecones. Hang them on low branches to watch the birds enjoy them. Enjoy the show with a Sun Shower® Smoothie!
